Quddus is the Managing Director of the firm and he is responsible for the overall management and strategy of the firm.

Quddus was there at the beginning of Hazelhurst Solicitors when the very first clients were signed up…and as an experienced Solicitor Quddus continues to practise at the front line representing clients in Courts and Tribunals across the North West of England. Quddus is reputed for settling high value injury claims and his passion remains within Injury Law.

Quddus is focused on driving growth of the firm in view to developing the firm organically to become a genuine national practice.

Solicitor: Personal Injury Team

Having qualified with 2:1 LLB Hons and achieving Commendation on the Legal Practice Course from the Manchester Metropolitan University School of Law Rahim joined a Law Centre to assist vulnerable people suffering injustices with the support of legal aid.

Following this Rahim moved on to join a large personal injury firm.

Rahim is a qualified Solicitor and specialises in injuries by road traffic accidents including those caused by uninsured and untraced drivers, accidents at work, slips and trips accidents. Rahim also represents clients in general litigation matters.

Out of work Rahim enjoys spending time with his family and friends as often as he can as well as reading, watching movies and keeping fit.

Kalsuma Choudhury

Office Manager

Kalsuma Choudhury is passionate about immigration law and she is driven by her desire to help those who are disadvantaged.

Kalsuma developed interest in immigration law whilst still studying for LLB Law (Hons) at university. As a student she took up part-time employment at the Home office as an Administrative Officer (AO) making visa application decisions on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Home Department.

After she graduated Kalsuma joined the Legal Aid Services Provider, Immigration Advice Service in 2013 as an Immigration Casework Assistant and later her leadership quality shone through and Kalsuma was appointment a team leader.

Kalsuma joined Hazelhurst solicitors in 2018 as a fee earner in the immigration department. Kalsuma advises clients on all aspects of immigration law and she says she has amassed a wealth of experience working for Hazelhurst and she is currently studying part-time with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive (CILEX). Kalsuma wants to qualify as a Chartered legal Executive Lawyer.

Over the past two years whilst at Hazelhurst, Kalsuma has advised and successfully represented numerous clients in all areas of immigration and nationality law including applications under the PBS and refugee convention cases.

During her Training Kalsuma has also had seats in the Family law and personal injury departments. Kalsuma says when she is not at work, during her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children.

Corinne is a very experienced and versatile legal Advisor with expertise in different jurisdictions. Corinne has cross border experience in commercial law and civil litigation. Prior to joining Hazelhurst Solicitors, Corinne practised in London, Paris, and Geneva. Hellen Crolley is one of the newest members of Hazelhurst Solicitors, London Office. She is renowned for her ability to engage with clients of varying ethnicity and background with great respect and care. She has been described by clients as having a sparkle. She communicates sensitivity with empathy and ensures her clients have the best results.

Hellen is passionate about law. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple after successfully completing a Bar Professional Training Course. Prior to that, she attained a  BA Hons. degree in Economics, LLB Hons Laws and a Master of Laws. She believes that a lawyer constantly acquires new knowledge and skills, and she is yet to attain more knowledge through education and legal practice.

She has an interest in most areas of law which are practised at Hazelhurst Solicitors, particularly, Family law, Personal Injury, Landlord and Tenant disputes, Commercial law, and Immigration law.

Hellen brings her experience from law chambers and other law firms to complement her work with Hazelhurst Solicitors. She has worked in family law chambers,  criminal law firms and other organisations’ legal departments before recently joining Hazelhurst law firm.

Magdalena Mejia

Consultant Lawyer, London Office

Magdalena Mejia is an Immigration Consultant with the London Office and a qualified Lawyer. She specialises in nationality law (naturalisations, citizenships, passports etc.) and immigration law (all visa types, detention and deportation, bail, appeals, asylum claims, residence permits, EU Settlement Scheme etc.) but also helps clients with personal injury (traffic accidents and compensation) and family matters (marriages, civil partnerships, domestic violence, divorces, child arrangements etc.).

Due to her background, Magdalena has a deep understanding of issues facing immigrants, asylum seekers and families, particularly when coming from Latin America and Spain. Magdalena is known for her passion in assisting people in need. Outside of her legal practice Magdalena runs marathons for local charities and supports the London community by volunteering.

Besides speaking English and Spanish, she is also learning Portuguese, French and German.

Sheikh joined the London branch of Hazelhurst as a Consultant in June of 2022. He completed his BA Hons in Law from Coventry University, and his Legal Practice Course from Staffordshire University.

Sheikh is also a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner and was in private practice in London for about twenty years prior to joining Hazelhurst.

Mr Iqbal Sram (Collaborator)

Mr Sram is a barrister and was called to the bar (Lincoln’s Inn) in 1996 and he is an authorised pupil supervisor. He is also a fully qualified medical doctor having graduated from Manchester University.
